These terms, cancellation and refund policies apply when you book a product from Island Life North, from an agent, or from a sales outlet. Cancellations, changes and claims for refunds can only be made directly to Island Life North.
1.1 Activities
An activity can be changed or canceled up to 13 days before departure for a fee of 200 NOK. For changes and cancellations later than 13 days before departure, there is no refund. This also applies if you book less than 13 days before the start date of the activity.
Bad weather does not give grounds for cancellation. If, on the other hand, the supplier has to cancel for safety reasons due to bad weather conditions, a refund will be given.
If you want to change the number of travelers on your booking, you must contact us. All changes require available capacity. Any price increases are borne by the customer.
Island Life North does not offer cancellation insurance and we recommend everyone to take out private travel insurance that covers cancellations.
1.2 Health and condition
With every booking we will ask you about your condition and experience in the outdoor area in order to be able to advise you optimally on the tour you want. We will give you recommendations for suitable clothing.
Of course, we are constantly striving for your safety, but we do not take responsibility for any accidents or damage to your equipment. We do not offer any insurances. Participants must be insured themselves against possible damage, accidents or othe circumstances.
1.3 Extraordinary conditions
If the tour/activity has to be canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (such as natural disasters, government actions, industrial disputes, or other events that make it difficult or inadvisable to proceed with the trip), you will be given a refund for the tour.
Island Life North is responsible for informing you of significant changes that apply to your booking.
Pictures of the tour/activity, the guide and the equipment are only permitted for private, non-commercial use, unless other special rights of use have been agreed for this.
The content and works created by the site operator, in particular texts, photographs and graphics, on these pages are subject to copyright.
